Creating content on mobile is fine, really.
Add a humane touch by filming moments that matter.
You can’t always have your DSLR hanging around to capture the moments that really matter, the moments that may add a humane touch to your brand. And really, no matter what industry you’re in, your audience will always be more interested in knowing what goes down behind the scenes, what makes you, YOU. And that’s easier to capture on your phone, right? More convenient and efficient, if we may say so.
The end goal is that your content should always be humane. It doesn’t matter if it’s on a DSLR or your mobile phone. Humane touch means creating content that feels like it was written by a real person—not some robot trying to sell you something. It’s about being empathetic and understanding what your audience needs from you.
If you can do that, then your audience will trust you more than someone who just pushes products or services onto them without any care for their feelings. And when people trust you, they’ll buy from you!
As standard, we use two types of devices for our production needs. We use the latest iPhones to create social media content & professional cameras for commercials. Although, lately we’ve been creating high-quality content from phone cameras as they keep improving every year. Another advantage of using the phone to film is that anyone with a creative mind can film, and doesn’t have to be only trained professionals. We were able to capture some key moments due to the versatility of the iPhone whereas if we had opted for the DSLR, chances are we’d have probably lost that photo op.
So if you are a startup or a fully fledged brand, using phones are not such a bad idea to film and create content. Also, we recently upgraded ourselves to the latest iPhones – iPhone 14 PRO Max. We’ll be posting some content shot from that soon – keep a look out on our socials. 👀
